A new lunch experience in Loveland Colorado…at least for me. Door 222 is located in the downtown area of Loveland at 222 E. 4th St.
The building is beautiful and provides a loft like feeling with its distinctive Old City feel. The owners have done an excellent job of keeping the Old Town feel with modern up dates.
I met a good friend of mine who is also a past client at Door 222 for a wonderful afternoon lunch. Neither of us had been to Door 222 before so it was a new little adventure.
The menu has a bistro vibe, which includes Tapas, Small Plates, and traditional lunch options. The restaurant also serves dinner. The food is prepared fresh with high quality attention paid to the details. The menu does offer vegetarian options. There are tables inside and out, along with a bar to sit at if one chooses.
Our food was wonderful and we both agreed that we would come back again. I enjoyed a BLT while my guest ate a Margarita Pizza. Both were fresh, delicious, and very filling.
The restaurant sits right next to the Loveland Theater so when there is a show going on I recommend that you call ahead for a reservation. The Old Town is beautiful and offers a lot of options for dinner, entertainment, museums, and shopping. The city has really focused on redeveloping the downtown area.
Door 222 is worth an evening out or lunch with a friend. The restaurant offers lots of option with an atmosphere that encourages conversation and laughter. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.
