A fancy night out on the town.
Chris and I plus our good friends went out in Old Town Fort Collins for a date night.
We met at The Kitchen for a wonderful night with drinks, dinner, and dessert. Included and free of charge was great conversations and lots of laughter.
We started with Drinks and an appetizer…however, the appetizer was a special and I do not remember its name…all I know is that was excellent. I do have pictures and it tasted as good as it looks maybe even better.
Next, were our dinners and more drinks of course. We all had a steak with fresh locally grown vegetables and potatoes. The ladies had the Fillet and the men had the Rib-eye. All of the food is organic with a focus on local products.
Our food was cooked perfectly, not a complaint in the group. The waiter was well versed in the menu and timed our meal throughout the evening perfectly. We did not feel rushed, we truly enjoy our dinner and the evening.
I look forward to going back again for a special night. It is a the perfect restaurant for a celebration or a wonderful date night. It is on the higher end price wise for our area. However, if you are like me…when the food is well prepared, the atmosphere is warm and inviting…then I can enjoy spending a little extra.
It is also important to point out that they do focus on organic products with an emphasis on purchasing local. The Kitchen believes in supporting the Local American Farmer and sourcing the foods directly from local communities where there restaurants reside. I really like this concept for our food products, communities, and families. This fact will make the cost of the meal higher and well worth the additional expense.
